My first dealings with anxiety happened just a few years back. I was in my office going over some last minute details when I began to feel anxious and uneasy in my stomach. Let me tell you, this is not a good feeling as you probably already know.

 

From that day I started searching for some answers for what was causing my problem and, of course, for relief from this stressful illness!

My name is John Asheton and like so many people with this disorder, I spent months and months desperately trying to get relief from my anxiety symptoms.

 

I never used to have any problems as far as feeling anxious or panicy but when I started working behind a desk, my whole life changed.

 

There was plenty of stress and deadlines to contend with and eventually those things bothered me more and more. I would find myself getting that sickening feeling down in the pit of my stomach, my hands were clammy and a certain fear would creep over me.

 

My diet changed, I was sleeping less and because of the work load and the fact of being cramped in a little cubicle, my job and other parts of my life became quite stressful.

 

And then it happened!!

 

My anxiety symptoms slowly started to worsen and probably due to lack of proper treatment, within a few short weeks I was a slave to these feelings.

 

Many anxiety or panic attacks were to follow over the next few years. Believe it or not, I didn't even know what a 'panic attack' was until my physician explained it to me. However, she did not tell me very much about it but said I had incurred an anxiety disorder of some sort.

 

Her answer was drugs. She handed me a prescription for medication to calm the symptoms but I am not a drug taker. I didn't want to end up addicted to over-the-counter medicine or maybe even suffer from bad side effects in the future.

 

And that was the point when I realized I had to do something different about it.

 

I Tried Cymbalta & Failed.

 

At the time of my doctor's visit, Cymbalta was one of the best available for generalized anxiety disorders and after speaking to my GP and a couple of friends who were taking it with some success, I decided to try it.

At first it worked out reasonably well and my feelings of anxiousness did dissipate some - and although that wasn't exactly something to get too excited about, at least it was a beginning. I felt good knowing there was some relief from this treatment!

 

But, after only a few weeks, I began to have second thoughts. One of many issues was that I was spending so much money on the product.

 

It was not covered by the health insurance plan I had and, even ordering online which I'm not crazy about, it was costing $123.82 for a small bottle which was far more than I could afford.

 

I was working my way through hundreds of dollars which was becoming a problem, especially as a family man with children.

 

Eventually, I had to stop.

Next, I Tried the "Natural Anxiety Remedies" But Was Not Too Impressed by the Results

 

Don't get me wrong. I am not a "holistic healing" type of person but, after a while, I was about ready to try anything. So, I thought I'd look into the natural remedy solution.

 

The most worrying thing of all was that I got a warning from my doctor and after deciding that the pain and suffering I was experiencing wasn't worth it compared to the benefit the product was having on my skin, I threw the pills in the bin the very next day.

 

I tried some of the recommended treatments such as apple cider vinegar remedies, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, natural herbal remedies, meditation – you name it and I tried it. I was NOT getting any better and still spending time and money on things I couldn't afford. This certainly didn't help with my anxiety problem.

 

Maybe these natural remedies for anxiety work for some people, but they sure didn't work for me.

After all the heartaches, I finally found something that worked.

 

Having spent so much time, money and energy desperately trying to succeed with pills, vitamins and hopeless grasps in the air that virtually had very little effect on my anxiety was really discouraging. The last thing I tried was something new called the Panic Away program.

Boy, was I in for a treat! As I read the book I felt Mr. Barry was speaking directly to me. He had no doubt about what I was going through and recommended a way to get out of the anxiety with a simple technique he calls the One Move.

 

Here's the reason I recommend it.

 

There are only a couple of reasons I recommend Panic Away. The main one is, just by following Mr. Barry's plan for a matter of days and the results were almost unbelievable.

 

The approach he uses has made a world of difference. I used the technique every morning (This is normally when I experienced the more intense anxiety symptoms) and I immediately noticed a difference. Something was changing - it is hard to explain - I felt as if I was not backing away form the fear anymore.

 

Although it did take me a little while longer to get back to a feeling of normalcy that is stated on their site, I did manage to slowly but surely stare to do things on my own again. Freedom!

 

Freedom to drive my car, go for long walks alone and freedom from the anxiety which gripped my very life. I'm positive you'll agree is pretty amazing. I'm now at the stage of being able to look at myself in the mirror again and saying; "I can do it!"

 

In my humble opinion, this is by far more superior and much more effective than any of the other medications and treatments I tried. I know that everyone reacts differently to systems but this program has worked amazingly well for me.

 

The best thing about this is, here I am one year later, writing this email and feeling one hundred percent better. I am not afraid of the dreaded anxiety coming back into my life because I have moved on beyond it. That is what this book and program has taught me.

 

Through it all, I found that I didn't need to get hooked on pills, I just needed the right person to guide me through this awful time in my life.

 

I am writing this page hoping that it might ring home with even just one person who is in a similar situation like I was when I felt depressed and caged in my fear.
